Nuclear- Powered Submarine

Oil Exploration

As a “Marine” metal, titanium is mainly used in manufacturing of submarines, warships and ships and offshore oil exploration, etc. It can be produced in large scale currently and almost completely be free from water erosion with the lowest price.
Titanium plays a pivotal role in the petrochemical industry. Titanium and titanium alloys are widely used to make offshore oil pipelines, reactors and heat exchangers in the process of acetaldehyde production, converters in urea production, oxygen cooling towers, chlor-alkali chlorate electrode, ammonia cooling towers in soda ash production, heat exchangers in nitric acid production, reactors and distillation towers, etc. Titanium and titanium alloy cannot be replaced in these areas.
